Some years ago, LED technology came to the advertising sector to stay, replacing the traditional hoardings. Since then, there have been many sectors that have wanted to tap into its multiple potentialities and take them to its terrain.
Obviously, interior design could not be left behind; moreover, the natural evolution of the use of LED technologies lies in the decoration and communication of shops, both big and small.
LED screens and panels are, in fact, an excellent way of decorating any type of space, no matter regardless of whether the establishment is public or private.
Technically speaking, there is nothing but advantages: they hardly require maintenance, they have a much longer life cycle than the old plasma screens, they are more ecological and they consume much less.
And, not only that. LED technology has more and more applications in decoration, from landscaping to themed settings (Christmas, for example), although perhaps the most attractive of them are the LED cubes, that permit depicting objects, backgrounds and creating motion effects in a three-dimensional space, and lighting for aquariums (or even, their recreation on an LED screen).
Of course, we must not forget, either, the special touch that colour changes in lighting or the combination of straight and curved lines give any space. A real phenomenon that has been called “audiovisual interior design”.
A whole world of possibilities that will surely continue to evolve in coming years. But one thing is sure and that is that LED technology will continue to surprise us with its new and innovative possibilities, to improve our lives and enrich our environment.
